Text: Luke 18:1-8
Ask God for a persistent heart to prayer. Exodus 17:8-13; 1 Thessalonians. 5:17.
- Pray for fresh mantle / anointing of prayer for yourself and the church. Everything by prayer and nothing but by prayer.
Luke 4:1; Acts 10:38; Romans 8:14; Jesus was filled with and led by the Holy Ghost and His power. 1 John 2:6. He who claims to be in Him should walk as He walked.
- Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit at all times and in all things (taking decisions, how you talk and what you say, what you think, your actions etc.)
- Pray also that the Holy Spirit will give our Pastors the message to preach.
- Exodus 19:8; 24:3, 7 & Jeremiah 44:16. Pray for a heart of obedience. That when the message from God through His servants come, that your (our) response will be found in Exodus 19:8; 24:3, 7.
- Pray that the Holy Ghost will direct give our Pastor directions in terms of programs and projects to embark on in the church.
- Pray for the mind of Christ – Matthew 11:29; Philippians 2:5 & 1 Peter 2:21
Joshua 7:1-12. Spirit of Achan. Emphasis on v12.
- Pray against every spirit of Achan that troubles the whole church (arrogance & pride, gossip, backstabbing, sowing the seed of discord, immoral & unholy living, bitterness and hatred etc). It could be through you as an individual.
- Ask God to show you how many your sins are and ask Him for the grace to get rid of them. Job 13:23
