Text: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27; Numbers 9:1-23 & Romans 8:14
Praying for the direction and leading of the Holy Spirit
- Ask God to help you discipline yourself (actions, words you speak, conduct, thoughts, relationships etc) so that at the end, you will be blameless before Him – when He shall appear, you will indeed meet Him blameless, you will not be a cast away after you have led others to heaven.
- Ask God to fill you again with the fire of the Holy Spirit so that in all things, you will learn how to obey Him and allow Him to lead you.
- Pray that the church will not embark on any program that is not divinely inspired, that we can only move if the Holy Spirit leads – See Moses’ comment in Exodus 33:13-15
Praying for the will of God for our individual lives:
Matt 6:10; Luke 11:2; Ephesians 1:3
- Ask God to open our eyes to understand what it means to pray for His direction from today.
- Pray again that you will be filled with the knowledge of His will in all things.
- Pray (violently) for the will of God for your life concerning spiritual blessing – healing, prophecy, discerning of spirits, soul winning, praying and all the spiritual gifts you can think of.
- Pray for the will of God concerning material blessing which He has stored up for you in heaven
- Repeat: Let the angels of the living God roll away every stone blocking my spiritual, financial and physical breakthroughs in the name of Jesus Christ.
- I remove my name from the book of seers of goodness without manifestations in Jesus name.
Praying for the church in SA + Closer to Jesus Ministries – Isaiah 56:10
- Pray that the fear of God, His love, oneness, righteousness and holiness will come back to the church. Pray for an outbreak of revival.
- Pray for those whose fire have gone out, that God will rekindle their fire again etc.
- Pray for the pastor and his wife and those that are in leadership. Ask God for wisdom, protection and provision.
- Pray that they will tap into the spirit of the leader. That they will be united in heart and purpose.
