Text: Luke 18
Esther 4: 15; 8:15; Proverbs 28:2 & 29:2; Isaiah 33:22
- Thank God for South Africa as a nation and all those in the leadership at the moment.
- Thank God again for His plan and purpose for this nation, for South Africa has a very important mandate to fulfill (before God) among the African continent in these last days.
- Bring the election before the Lord. Ask him to elect righteous, wise and knowledgeable leaders for this nation (Proverbs 28:2 & 29:2 – NLT). Leaders that God will use to carry out His program and agenda for this nation, leaders that will steer this nation in the direction that God wants.
- Pray that He sends leaders like Cyrus – Isaiah 45:1 whom He will also use to awaken the church in these last days.
- Pray that God will judge the satanic spiritual structures that have sustained politics and commerce in this nation and replace them with righteous ones.
- Pray from Isaiah 33:22 – Pray for those working in the judiciary – Constitutional courts, High courts, magistrate courts, lower courts in the land etc. Ask God to grant them wisdom and right judgment.
- Pray for those who will be elected as members of parliament – from all the political parties, that God will grant them right judgment. Pray that they will pass no law that opposes the plan of God for this nation and that God will use them to abort such laws (gay and lesbian, abortion etc) already in existence.
- Pray again for whoever will be elected the President of this nation. That he will be a man full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and not a man who will come to make the people groan.
- Pray from Matthew 6:10 – Declare “O Lord, let thy kingdom come and thy will be done upon this nation.”
- Pray from Isaiah 60:18 – Declare that there will be no violence in this land on and after the Election Day. Plead the Blood of Jesus over this nation.
- Pray over all the tribes of SA and release the people from evil destinies they have received from their fathers.
- Pray over the squatter camps and locations and rural areas. Break the cycles of hopelessness. Command the power of slavery to be broken. Ask that the light of God’s glory will shine upon them. John 1: 5
- Prophetically break the demonic seals and satanic legislations in those locations that have tampered with God’s destiny for the people. Declare Romans 8:2 over the people
- Pray that people in places like Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Orange farm, Sebokeng, Tembisa Hillbrow, etc, will become familiar with the goodness of God. Declare Psalm 23:6 over these areas.
- Pray that the knowledge and glory of God will shine through all these areas – Isaiah 11:9 & Habakkuk 2:14
- Pray for God’s wisdom, protection, strength and blessings over the SAPS and the Metro Police concerning their work. Ask the Lord to keep exposing those of them that are corrupt.
