Thanksgiving – Psalm 92:1-2
- Thank God because of yet another opportunity like this to pray
- Thank Him for keeping you alive this period (end of age) because there is a purpose He has for you to fulfill, and also for making you come in contact with Closer to Jesus Ministries at such a time like this – Esther 4:14
- Thank Him again for the gift of life that He’s given to you – Matt 6:25, for your families, friends and all that He has provided for you.
- Thank Him because His word says, “It is good to thank Him.”
- Thank Him because He is going to send laborers to us in CJM – Matt 9:37-38
Praying for the Prophetic presence in CJM: 1 Samuel 3:1; 2 Chronicles 15:1-7; Psalm 74:9; Amos 8:11
- Pray and invite the Spirit of Prophecy (the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ) to overtake CJM – Spirit of wisdom & understanding, counsel & might / power, knowledge & fear of God – Isaiah 11:2-3
- Pray that the Word of the Lord will be spoken accurately and fearlessly and that it will come with power & anointing and that it will accomplish its purpose in everyone’s lives – Jeremiah 23:28-29
- Pray that everyone under the umbrella of CJM will indeed seek the Lord in Holiness & Righteousness and that they will indeed find Him – Jeremiah 29:13.
- Pray that everyone will experience the truth of God’s word and the light of Him in us – He will be our God and that the Priesthood of Jesus Christ will prevail in our lives and that we will obey His laws – Isaiah 2:2-3.
- Pray that this light will then shine out to people to the point that they will begin to seek the God that we serve – Matthew 5:16.
- Pray that through CJM, God will indeed awaken the church in SA as He has said.
- Ask that through CJM, God will raise a Joshua generation (the church) that will be obedient to Him Joshua 24:16, 21 & 24 and conquer the land for Jesus Christ in these last days.
- Pray that His word will not be scarce in our meetings and in our lives – that He will feed us with the right / correct food every time we meet (the message for the now) – Acts 20:28
- Pray for the Pastors Godson & Blessing – for strength, wisdom, energy, provision & protection over their family.
- Pray that in this ministry, the truth of God’s word will unveil whatever covering that the enemy has covered the people with & God will open the eyes of the people – Isaiah 25:6 & John 8:32.
- Pray that the spirit of Moab (sexual sin) will be destroyed in people’s lives – Isaiah 25:10.
Praying for South African Men & Women
- Thank God for South Africa as a nation and all the different tribes – mention them
- Now by the word of God – Isaiah 61:1-3 & Luke 4:18, command a release of SA men from evil destinies, divorce, poverty, rape, idolatry, suicide, ancestral worship, etc they have received from their fathers. Release them to begin to seek God.
- Nahum 3: 4 – NB: The alarm rate of divorce makes it appear as if marriages are for sale in SA therefore pray like this: “I stand on the finished work of Calvary and I break the power of witchcraft over homes and marriages in SA”.
- Declare: “I stand on the priesthood of Jesus and I receive a warrant of arrest from the throne of God to chain the mistress of witchcrafts in this nation, in the name of Jesus”.
- Pray over the squatter camps, slums, shanty towns. Break the cycles of hopelessness. Command the power of slavery to be broken.
- Ask that the light of God’s glory will shine upon them. John 1: 5
- Prophetically break the demonic seals and satanic legislations in these locations that have tampered with God’s destiny for the people.
- Pray that people in, for example, Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Orange farm, Hillbrow, etc, will become familiar with the goodness of God.
- Also pray for citizens of other nations who have come to seek greener pasture in SA (Ghana, Nigeria, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Pakistan, UK, USA, DRC) – that they will not violate the laws of the land.
- Pray for Christians from these nations in SA – that Spirit of God will take them to the place where they 1st believed because majority come to SA and get lost – carried away.
General Prayers
- Pray that God will open doors – employment, righteous business, marriages etc to the members.
- Pray that all members of CJM will enjoy the goodness of the Lord (even though time is almost up – Jesus is coming) in the area of divine provision, health, protection etc.
- Pray for yourself again – That as you sow in this land – Gen 26:12-13, you will prosper, move forward, wax stronger and stronger
- Prophetically invite people to our Sunday meeting.
