Night Vigil 30 July 2010

Day 5 – Friday 30th July 2010 – Night Vigil

Perfection in love and peace – 2 Corinthians 13:11; 1 John 4:17-18, in giving – John 3:16 & James 1:17 & in service and worship – Exodus 29:18, 25 & 41

  1. Pray like this, “Father, again I thank you for the strength that you have give me on this 5th day of the fasting and prayer programme. I pray that at the end of this programme, I will not have wasted time or run in vain in Jesus name.”
  2. Appreciate His loving kindness and thank Him deeply for all He has done in the past 5 days of this fasting and prayer programme. He has been our helper and strength. Let’s appreciate Him.
  3. Isa 65:24 – “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Thank Him for He has already started answering us by giving us a head start to the building project.
  4. Say to Him, “Father I dip myself in your everlasting love.” 1 John 4:7-21; 1 Tim 1:5; 1 Corinthians13:4-13
  5. Pray like this, “Heavenly Father, according to your word in 2 Corinthians 13:11, I receive your perfect peace and love in my life so that I will learn how to live at peace and demonstrate your love to those around me in Jesus name.”
  6. Lord, your word tells me in Rom 8:11 & 1 Corinthians 3:16 that the Spirit of Him that rose Jesus Christ from death dwells in me and that as Jesus is, so are we in this world, and because you are love and he that dwells in love dwells in you, I therefore receive upon my life, the perfect love of Jesus Christ and I pray that this love will shine through me in Jesus name.
  7. Ask for God’s divine love to be poured upon you. Ask God to help you love beyond measure regarding your family, friends, church, neighbours and people from other nations.
  8. Pray from Eph 3:17-19. Ask that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.
  9. 2 Samuel 22:31 & Psalm 18:30 – “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in Him.” Ask that your trust in Him be truly perfected. In other words it must be based on faith that it is not in vain, and God will reward as He has promised, but the key is us trusting Him completely.
  10. Let’s pray like this, “Father your word tells me in John 3:16 how you demonstrated your love by giving Jesus Christ to me, I therefore pray that you teach me how to give cheerfully and not grudgingly back to you, for the work of your kingdom and to the glory of your name.”
  11. Declare that the peace of God that passeth all understanding will keep your heart and mind through Jesus Christ our Lord – Phil 4:7.
  12. Declare that in your family, career, business etc, you will begin to experience His peace – John 14:27
  13. Declare again that by reason of His word in Col 1:20 “And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven”, that your life, belongings, career, ministry, finance & family etc are reconciled to Him.
  14. Teach me how to give back love, my time, talents and resources to advance your kingdom.
  15. Say to Him, “Father you gave your only begotten Son to me, who gave His life for me without any excuse, I therefore surrender all my life, time, moments, body, my days, intellect and my will and all my heart to your service in Jesus name – Amen.”
  16. Pray like this from James 1:17, “Heavenly Father, according to your word, every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. I therefore covenant with you this day that I will not withhold that which is meet for me to give.” I will give without wavering in Jesus name – Amen.
  17. Heavenly Father, your word tells me in 1 Pet 2:5 that I am a lively stone, I therefore refuse to bring before you, cold and half hearted worship, sacrifice and service in Jesus Christ name.
  18. Pray to Him from Rom 12:1-2, “Heavenly Father, I present my body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto you, which is my reasonable service and I will no more conform to the pattern of this world going forward. Help me to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, that I may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God in Jesus name – Amen.”
  19. Father, according to your word in Exodus 29:18, let the service, offering and worship that I offer to you be of a sweet smelling savour, perfect and acceptable to you in the name of Jesus Christ.
  20. According to Exodus 13:10, I commit to offer you the worship, praise and sacrifice due you in it’s season in Jesus name.

Lord I give you thanks and praise for answering me.
