Thanksgiving

  • Give Him praise and thanks because His word tells us in Isaiah 9:7 “that of His government and peace, there shall be no end.” His Kingdom is from everlasting to everlasting.
  • Give Him praise and thanks because we have received from Him a kingdom that cannot be removed.

Repentance

  • Bring a lamentation and repentance before the Lord and ask for mercy concerning the sins of xenophobia and racism in SA. Ask the Lord to show forgive and show mercy. Ask the Lord to give the people of this nation repentance in this area of xenophobia – Acts 11: 18.
  • Ask the Lord to also grant repentance to all our brothers and sisters from other African countries that have engaged themselves either in prostitution, stealing, bribery & corruption and any other activity that reflects the nature of darkness and Satan.
  • Now pray like this, “Father in the name of Jesus, we as a church and army of God challenge by fire every spirit of violence and xenophobic attack against foreigners in this nation. We command their activities to be roasted by fire now in the name of Jesus Christ.”
  • Declare the word of the Lord from Micah 2:1-2 on this spirit and the perpetrators – “Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds and when the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand, And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house even a man and his heritage.”
  • Say, “Father as you fought against Sisera the captain of Jabin’s army in Judges 4, and as you delivered Israel from the hand of the Amorites in Josh 10:12-14, when you Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, Lord, let your angels make war with this spirit and their people till you have discomfited and defeated them completely in the name of Jesus Christ.”
  • Say: “I stand on the priesthood of Jesus and I receive a warrant of arrest from the throne of God to chain the mistress of violence and xenophobia, in the name of Jesus”.
  • Plead the blood of Jesus Christ against this spirit.
  • Plead the blood of Jesus Christ over yourself and family.
  • Plead the blood of Jesus Christ over the major centers where this spirit wants to erupt from – all the cities in all the 9 provinces, mention all the locations – Cosmo City, Tembisa, Soweto, Kagiso, Kathlehong, Daveyton and Springs, Hilbrow, Yeoville and Berea area, Randburg, Diepsloot etc.
  • Decree that “No man shall eat fruit ‘of this spirit’ in the name of Jesus; Mark 11:14, 20 bind the spirit behind this act of violence.
    • Pray for the people of this nation again: that God will deliver them from hatred and bitterness.
    • Pray over the squatter camps, slums, shanty towns and break the cycles of hopelessness. Command the power of slavery to be broken.
    • Pray over all the tribes in SA and release the people from evil destinies they have received from their fathers.
    • Ask that the light of God’s glory will shine upon them – John 1: 5
    • Pray that the knowledge of the glory of God shall cover even as the waters cover the seas – Hab 2:14.

Praying for the Church – Emphasis on CJM

Texts: Matt 16:18

  • Ask God to raise CJM as a territorial church in this nation – church without walls and boundaries.
  • Ask God to teach the members of CJM (including you) how to war from heaven, how to pray.
  • Ask Him to use this ministry to bring about His righteousness and holiness again back to the body. That CJM will fulfill her destiny in God.
  • Pray that men and women in this ministry will know God in His plan, power, person, purpose, provision and protection.
  • Ask God to send us men and women that will carry the burden of this ministry with the leadership – men and women that will believe in what God has commissioned the pastor to do and support him. If you are one of them, then ask God for more burden upon your life.
  • Ask Him to give us a corporate Kingdom vision that we will begin to see things through the eyes of God – Ezekiel 1:1.
  • Pray that the five-fold ministry will come into full manifestation in this ministry and let Him equip His people to affect their environment – Eph 4: 11-12.
  • Bring the building project again before the Lord and ask Him to grant us good speed and His favor.

Give Him praise and thanks for answered prayers.
